Hallow’s Eve Has Arrived

Halloween is just about here and I plan to do it all this year: dress up in full costume, go out with some friends, and have a good damn time. 
I always put a lot of effort into my costumes, and one thing I know is that it’s good to keep track of all the things you need for your look. I also like to make sure I have everything if I’m going out, and I usually do! What’s the point of putting together an awesome costume if no one can see it? :P
Anyway, I’ve come up with a little Costume Checklist that might come in handy, and a Going-Out Checklist as well. The items listed might vary depending on your character or theme or your social situation.

Now, “Protection” can be seen in two ways, I’ll let you smart folks figure it out. Just make sure that if you go out that you’re with people you trust, are ready for anything, and most of all that the goal is to HAVE FUN!!
I always do a practice put-together for whatever costume I want to come up with. On Twitter I posted a pic of me doing just that (focusing on makeup), and I asked if anyone could tell who I was. Well here’s the picture I posted: Can you take a guess as to who I might be trying to portray?
I recently bought a wig that goes better with the overall costume, so perhaps I’ll be posting another pic soon.

What are you guys doing for Halloween? Partying? Hanging out? Scary movie night? Trick-or-treating? Personally I think you’re never too old to go out and have some good old fun. And I love dressing up! It’s fun to be someone else for a night. (And sometimes the next day… Tell me I’m not the only one who’s woken up in full costume the day after a party…)

I actually did little to nothing for Halloween. I dressed up as Alice Cullen, and well, helped my mother-in-law with tick or treating. Other than that, it was quite uneventful, haha.
